NATIONAL RA RACE Schedule

Royal Ambassador
National Race for World Hunger

The first ever National Royal Ambassador Racecar Race will take place on June 7, 2008 in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the Saturday before the Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting. The race will take place in the Pioneer Land Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

The information on our web site is primarily about the National Race and other related events that will take place on Saturday. The Royal Ambassador department of the North American Mission Board is planning several other (things) that will accompany the National Race. Tentatively, such components as a Friday night outdoor worship time, a mission fair/block party, and others are being planned and discussed. Information on those will be released as it becomes available.

Purposes:
-To increase awareness of and giving to World Hunger Relief-especially by Royal Ambassadors.
-To provide a model event that RA groups, churches, associations, and state conventions could adopt to promote On Mission awareness and giving.
-To provide Royal Ambassadors an avenue to live out the virtues of Teamwork and Responsibility as reflected in the RA Pledge verse “To work with others in sharing Christ.”
